Service Description

Grow Up with Wildflowers! A once a week class hosted at Wildflowers Gardens where students learn to grow a garden using permaculture, food forestry, and organic gardning methods. There is a heavy literary focus in all Wildflowers classes, with science, math and other subjects throughout. Student will grow their own container garden to take home. Fall classes are on Fridays, beginning September 19, 2025 and ending November 21, 2025. Classes will be 2 hours long. 9 - 11 am: Up to third grade 11-1: 4th - 7th grade 2-4 pm: 8th grade and older. This class will use materials and curriculum support from Florida Agriculture in the Classroom. This includes lessons in Language Arts, STEM, Nutrition, and basic agriculture.
